The collaboration of the two Italians, Lamborghini and Ducati, gives birth to a new project: a Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini motorcycle inspired by the Sián FKP 37, in limited edition.

After announcing it last July, Ducati finally joins forces with Lamborghini to give birth to their “baby”. The Ducati / Lamborghini motorcycle is the result of the alliance of two brands that look alike. Andrea Ferraresi, director of the Centro Ducati:

By creating a Diavel inspired by the Sián, we celebrated the values we share with Lamborghini: we are Italian, we are sporty and design is a distinctive element of our creations.
We are convinced of the strength of our design, one of the most recognizable in the automotive world,” said Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini Design Director.

Tribute to the iconic Sián FKP 37

Inspired by the design of the Sián FKP 37, applied on the Diavel 1260, this new project does not leave one indifferent. The new top-of-the-range forged wheels pay homage to the car, as well as the air intakes and radiator scoops, and the carbon fiber trim, redesigned by Ducati.

According to Ferraresi The Diavel1260 Lamborghini was designed using the same stylistic language  that characterizes the Sián FKP 37.

In addition to the different equipment, the paintwork applied is equally fascinating, always inspired by the sports car. The “Verde Gea” green bodywork is accompanied by the “Oro Electrum” gold chassis, underbody and rims. The red on the Brembo calipers is reminiscent of Ducati.

There is also the typical Lamborghini hexagon and “Y”, next to which is inscribed the number 63. A number of high importance since it is in 1963 that the Bolognese manufacturer was founded. It is from there that the 630 numbered copies (63 x 10) soon to be produced by Ducati will come from.

The Diavel 1260 Lambo / Ducati will be available at Ducati dealerships from the end of December 2020, at a price of 41,860 Dollar.
