Audi launches the Q8 55 TFSIe and Q8 60 TFSIe rechargeable hybrids.
The two rechargeable hybrid versions of the Audi Q8 are now available to order on the French market. Audi had already announced the price of one of them, the 55 TFSIe,
which is now priced at $102,800. For this price, a 3L V6 turbo petrol engine combined with an electric motor is available, which is integrated into the eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
The unit develops 381hp and 600Nm, sent to the Quattro all-wheel drive system. Audi announces a “zero emission” range of 47km and an average fuel consumption of 2.6L/100km.
The Q8 55 TFSIe features LED lights, tri-zone automatic climate control, navigation system, partial leather upholstery, heated front seats, athermic windows, a power tailgate and semi-autonomous driving systems from its first finish called Advanced. It is also available in S Line, Avus and Avus Extended configurations.
462hp for the Q8 60 TFSIe
The Q8 60 TFSIe, pulling 462hp and 700Nm from the same engine, is only offered in Competition finish. Standard equipment includes adaptive headlights, 21-inch wheels, red brake calipers and a flat steering wheel.
It takes only 5.4s to go from 0 to 100 km/h despite its weight of well over two tons. The manufacturer promises an average fuel consumption of 2.7L/100km and a range of 45km in all-electric mode. The Audi Q8 60 TFSIe is priced at $120,480 excluding options.
