The Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo SV is an electric idea vehicle intended for virtual perseverance dashing.

Jaguar  presents the Vision Gran Turismo SV, a virtual idea vehicle got from the 2019 Vision Gran Turismo Coupe and along these lines expected for computer games in the Gran Turismo adventure. Like the original model, it is a 100% electric racing car. But the latest addition to the Coventry feline’s line-up has been designed specifically for high-speed endurance.

This is noticeable by the new front spoiler and the imposing rear spoiler of which two elements are mobile. These new aerodynamic attributes lengthen the car by 86cm to bring its length to 5.54m with an unchanged wheelbase of 2.72m.

Jaguar announces a coefficient of drag of only 0.398 and a support of 483kg at 320 km/h. In addition to the influence of the Jaguar Type C, D and E in the design concept, the XJR-14 and XJR-9, which ran in the late 1980s and early 1990s, also played a role.

A concept that’s not just virtual

The Vision Gran Turismo SV is fueled by four motors, one more than the Vision Gran Turismo Coupe since a subsequent square has been introduced on the front hub. Power is increased from 1,020hp to 1,903hp and torque from 1,200Nm to 3,360Nm for a predicted top speed of 410km/h compared to 320km/h previously. However, nothing is said about the range of this endurance car.

Jaguar has built a life-size model of the coupe to accompany the presentation of the virtual model. The virtual model will join “the Gran Turismo game” in 2021, according to Jaguar. The manufacturer is not more specific about the episode in question; it could be Gran Turismo 7, the successor to Gran Turismo Sport expected to be released on the PS5 in 2021.
