The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT comes in a slightly more muscular Performance Edition.
After introducing the European version of the Mustang Mach-E GT, Ford is unveiling an even more muscular version of its electric SUV in the U.S.: the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition. This one is more powerful, but has a shorter range.
The combined power of its two engines (one on each axle) is still 487 hp (465 hp in Europe) but their torque has increased from 813Nm to 860Nm. Ford is therefore aiming for a time of 3.5s in the 0-60 mph (96 km/h) range, an improvement of 0.3s. As the battery capacity has not changed with still 88 kWh, the announced autonomy increases from 400km to 380km according to American standards.
An exclusive finish
Nothing has yet been said about the possible marketing of this version in Europe. This is not impossible, since the car is electric and therefore free of many of the environmental constraints affecting sports cars on the Old Continent.
